The Aster is multi-family development in a revamped part of the Denver Metro area. The landscape and open space borrow from the modern architecture to create clean and organized spaces.

The main pedestrian thoroughfare is a mixture of open lawn, raised planters, a firepit, a community garden, a barbeque station, and a play area to accommodate a diverse group of residents. In small spaces, it is important for your design elements to have multiple uses. On this project, the planters serve as small gathering spaces by manipulating the shape of the planter and adding benches. The open space on this project is able to be used for a variety of functions and purposes at one time. This project shows that small spaces can have multiple uses.
