The Amenity Center at The Canyons serves as the social heart of the community, embodying the ideal suburban clubhouse experience. Centered around a large pool, hot tub, and playgrounds, it offers spaces for recreation, relaxation, and connection for all ages.

The landscape design is defined by a strong contrast in planting character. A broad framework of naturalistic, native planting surrounds the amenity center, reinforcing the regional landscape identity while providing seasonal interest, habitat value, and water-wise performance. These areas establish an ecological backdrop that ties the site to its broader context.

In contrast, the immediate amenity zones are framed with a more lush and refined planting palette, creating comfort, enclosure, and visual richness around gathering areas and play spaces. This balance between naturalistic landscape structure and more curated garden-like moments helps define program areas while maintaining a cohesive site identity.
Together, the planting strategy grounds the project in its native setting while elevating the key social spaces to create a welcoming, engaging environment for the community.
