STEPPING STONE

Stepping Stone is an award-winning residential community with 900 single-family homes.  The surrounding area contains portions of unincorporated Douglas County, the City of Lone Tree, and the Town of Parker.  Much of the land around Stepping Stone is undeveloped and classified under the ‘planned development’ zoning designation. 

 

Areas in the vicinity of Stepping Stone could include retail operations, professional and ­business office buildings, shop-n-rides, health care facilities, multifamily dwellings, automobile ser­vice stations, and public buildings and structures, among other uses.

 

Trails together with facilities for field sports, court games, playgrounds, and other outdoor activi­ties, including lighting for after-dark play, public address systems, and parking areas may exist or may be added to the existing as well as to future areas of the parks and open space system and school grounds in the community.
